Re-implements the Gunslinger homebrew class. Previously, this was a Paladin subclass now it's a is a standalone hybrid Fighter/Battlemaster type class that uses firearms and deals ranged force damage smites.

Requirements
  • There are no longer any other mod requirements to run this mod.
Without official mod tools it is not possible to insert my class icon into the game. It does work if you have ImprovedUI and ImprovedUI Assets.
This is NOT a requirement. The mod works 100% without ImprovedUI, you just cant see the class icon without it. ImrpovedUI does work without SE or CF so you are relatively safe using it.

The Gunslinger Litany
I do not aim with my hand. He who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I aim with my eye.
I do not shoot with my hand. He who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I shoot with my mind.
I do not kill with my gun. He who kills with his gun has forgotten the face of his father.
I kill with my heart.

Smites
Ranged FORCE damage smites (normal and critical) as reactions are available on all ranged attacks except Fan the Hammer and Banishing Shot.

Proficiency
The Gunslinger is proficient with medium armor. There is nothing preventing you from using a longbow or a sword and shield and/or wearing heavy armor, but it will require taking Feats. I say true, your guns are the tools of the trade. A Gunslinger needs little more than that.

Unique Gunslinger Weapon
All new Gunslingers begin the game with a worn out Gunslinger revolver. There are ways to clean it up and upgrade it. Look around and you will find what you seek. A total of 5 guns exist. Two unique models and three unique skins. The Gunslinger's revolver will take you all the way to end game if you find the upgrades you need.

Ka
This is a class resource that Gunslingers use to power some of their abilities.

Battlemaster Progression
This class follows standard Battlemaster progression but only receives half the amount of maneuvers and superiority dice.

Progression

Level 1
  • Gunslinger Focus - 1 BAP + 1 Ka -You focus your eye, mind, and heart. You have +1 to attack and damage rolls, and have advantage on all attacks for 2 turns.
  • Aim With My Eye - 1 AP + 1 Ammo - Carefully aim for the thigh, causes weapon damage and slows your target.
  • Gunslinging - Includes gun proficiency, gun pointblank (no disadvantage at close range), and evasion. 
Level 2
  • Gunslinger Smite - reaction based Force damage smites that scale with level (like divine smite reactions, but force damage)
  • Gunslinging Fighting Style - You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons.
  • Action Surge - Immediately gain an extra action to use this turn.
Level 3
  • Battle Maneuvers - Choose 2
  • Superiority Dice - 2 D8 dice
  • Shoot With My Mind - 1 AP + 1 BAP + 1 Ammo - Targeting a vital area, causes weapon damage and bleeds your target.
  • Inspiring Palaver - 1 BAP + 1 Ka - You inspire with your words, giving yourself and your companions advantage for the next 2 turns.
Level 4
  • The Reload Trick (passive) - Decrease reload times on firearms. Changes the dual reload ability from 1 AP to 1 BAP.
  • Gunslinger Countershot - A reaction shot that counters enemy spell casting and deafens them.
Level 5
  • Extra Attack - You can make one additional attack after attacking with your main-hand weapon. 
  • Elemental Weapon - Imbue your guns with elemental power of your choice. They receives a +1 bonus to attack rolls and deal an additional 1d4 elemental damage.
  • Kill With My Heart - 1 AP + 1 BAP + 1 Ammo - Heavy hitting ranged attack that scales with level. If the target is both bleeding and slowed it does extra damage and knocks the target prone.
Level 6
  • Natural Explorer - Pick one of 5 different traits.
  • Aura of the Gunslinger - You radiate an inspirational aura. Your enemies have disadvantage on opportunity attacks against you and your companions, and the number needed to roll a Critical Hit is reduced by 1
Level 7
  • Superiority Dice - 1 D8 dice
Level 9
  • Indomitable - Whenever you fail a Saving Throw, you can roll again, using the new result instead. 
  • Gunslinger Haste - Haste for the Gunslinger only.
Level 10
  • Improved Combat Superiority - Superiority dice increases to D10
  • Battle Maneuvers - Choose 1
Level 11
  • Improved Extra Attack - You can make two additional attacks after attacking with your main-hand weapon.
  • Improved Gunslinger Smite (passive) - All ranged attacks deal an extra 1d8 Force damage.
Special Gunslinger Revolver Abilities
  • Fan the Hammer - 1 AP - Rapidly fire six hots at a single target or spread 6 shots to multiple targets (only available on Gunslinger revolvers of Uncommon (green) rarity or better)
  • Banishing Shot - 1 AP + 1 Ammo + 1 Ka - Banishes target enemy for 2 turns.(only available on Gunslinger revolvers of Very Rare (purple) quality or better)
Future Plans
There will always be bugs to fix and power imbalances to adjust.
Level 13-20 progression. Dummy levels are currently in place.
