This mod is for those who want a more consistent casting for Kiryu and works on bringing back his old voice from Yakuza 1 and 7.

It only works for English Audio.

Adds mostly Gameplay voices for Taichi Suzuki; the Taxi Driver! 

Update Version 2.2
Added and replaced more voice lines and updated others:
- Added speech files for when meeting Date for the first time, and when meeting the Legendary Hostess 
   Note: after those sequences have been played, it will revert to the original files.
- Added lines to the Samurai job and when taking selfies
- Added pound mate call lines and Asakura pound mate lines
- Replaced lines for the resort and batting minigame for more references and to fit better

Update Version 2.1
Post-release of Infinite Wealth, more files were added for minigames and Darryl Kurylo has been added to those minigames now.
Some lines were added as references to Yakuza 1's dub.

Replaces:
- Fighter Voices (Now adds voices for various actions! Some voices haven't been changed such as the Firedancer job)
- Talking voices with variations used from Yakuza 1!
- Karaoke Talking voices (Karaoke menu and Karaoke results, not the singing nor chanting)
- Voices in the Essence of Friendship and Essence of Two Dragons (Currently testing his other special moves per job)
-  Minigame voices (Darts, Golf, and Batting, etc.)
- Buddy & Common voices (Opening chests, eating, random lines while walking around)

This mod tries to replace as much as possible while maintaining good context and matching the original English lines.


This is no longer a Work In Progress mod. It will receive updates when available, if any issues are found, or until the game's full release.
