About this video

After a month of modding Skyrim to near visual perfection (as far as the engine and my GTX 970 allow), I've decided to make a (longish) showcase video.

Many many thanks to all the modders who've spent countless hours providing these amazing textures for the world to enjoy. You guys are awesome!

(Apologies for the missing music fade out at the end, YT wont let me edit it in.)

    Oh, Hi there.
I hope I didn't surprise you too much.
I was referring to some of the flora I saw in your video. It reminded me of Oblivion. It didn't look bad, just different.
I like color too, and you're right, there are a lot of map areas that are drab in the vanilla game to say the least. ENB Real Vision
and many of it's required mods fixed that for me. I didn't choose any of the required mods that would add any new flora tho.
I actually have a lot of the same mods installed as you do.
It is very hard to get so many creatures, people, birds and fauna populating the Skyrim world to function properly.
I went through a lot of CTDs before I was able to get a stable game. I have to accept the fact that my FPS will never go
much above 40fps when I'm outside. When I'm inside, dungeons or dwellings, my FPS is between 50 and 60fps tho.
I love the Skyrim world so much! It's a nice place to escape for a while.
I almost moved to Germany when I was a child.
I was a GI brat and my father was almost stationed in Germany. He didn't re-enlist tho, so that was that.
I think I would have liked living in Germany. I would like to add you as a friend, if you'd like.

Looks nice. I'll give you that. Good work. Too many changes to the Skyrim world tho, moving it to close to an Oblivion world. I like the Bethesda concept of what Skyrim should look like and there are mods that specifically improve those concepts and do not change the Skyrim world too much. We only have 255 plugin slots that we can use to mod our Skyrim game. I like a very sexy and populated Skyrim and many of my mods do this with more creatures, people, BIRDS and fauna. My Skyrim is beautiful but not altered in a way that changes Bethesda's basic design intentions of the Skyrim world.

      Wow, a comment 3 years later! ;D
What do you mean by changes to the world? I tried to be quite lore friendly, not adding any outrages clothing and such. But I did detest the drab look of the vanilla colors. It's like the winter grayness where I live in Germany. No thanks! I tried mods that add more NPCs and it crashed my game. I assume the GTX 970 couldn't handle it. Or I had a mod conflict. Not sure.
I've always meant to check out the Special Edition and mod it differently with a proper city mod and so on with my GTX 1080Ti but haven't got round to it, still obsessed with FO4 settlement building. *g*

Do you have the full mod list? Nexus seems to think there's only 70 mods in your video..... I'd really love to know all the mods you have here, your game looks beautiful!!

I let LOOT do everything. Probably not perfect, but since I have almost no weird glitches and even lakes don't have two colors anymore, I'm happy enough.

I have LOOT as well but my problem is it doesn't work. As in I can't seem to actual get Skyrim to stop crashing on startup.

Thanks for uploading this nice video. Glad you are using Project ENB, my all time favourite and of course the Ultimate HD Fire Effects

I love the color of the water and the look of Whiterun, truly amazing, how the game from 2011 is still alive and getting better and better!

    Have a nice day mate!

Thanks a lot for watching my video.

Project ENB to me personally is still the best preset. I love it so much. I used RealVision before on my laptop for 200h. It was already a huge improvement. But it still was too dark and gloomy for me. I wanted warm colors this time, and this ENB does just that without resulting in washed out skies. Too bad Project ENB absolutely murders my frame rate. Cuts it in more than half. I could run RealVision with 100 texture mods smooth as silk on my much inferior laptop. *sigh*

Ultimate HD Fire Effects is awesome, great work! I'm enjoying it a lot!

Is there any way to get this pack in a 7zip with the correct load order for easy installation?

I have a question though.... Do u use ur own Skyrim and Skyrim prefs ini or is it from somewhere else. It would be nice if u could upload ur one or send a link of the ini file that u use from other mods

Are the showcased files include all the mods used in this video? because the title says 250+ and there are 70 in the showcase.
also, are there additional character re-textures besides those of the children?

Thanks, still a bit sad that Youtube won't let me edit the music to take care of the choppy ending. I could do that on my test upload, but not this one. And I have no idea why it's only 1080p even though I uploaded it in 1440p.

If I feel like making another video, I'll edit the music pieces better before uploading. Still new to creating videos. I'm happy you enjoyed it anyway.
