Changelogs
The short description above practically says it all. The mod "fixes" some of the Codex entries in LE2 by making written text consistent with narrator VO, putting a missing bracket where it should be one and that kind of thing. Nothing fancy or game-changing, but if you find it worth installing, be my guest!

There are also some optional corrections available. These are much more intrusive than the core fixes and won't be to everyone's liking, so you can decide yourself if you want to install them or not:
- Narrator VO audio consistent with text: as the name suggests it, it makes narrator VO consistent with written text in two entries. First is the Cerberus entry, where the text says "the Illusive Man hides his finances behind shell companies" but narrator says "hides his finances hidden behind shell companies." If he hides them, it's obvious they're hidden - written text is better in this case, so I removed word "hidden" from narrator audio. The second entry is the one about Praetorians, which is incorrect - one of the narrator lines says about their ability to teleport (which is total bull, probably leftover from an idea that was changed later), while written text (correct) says about "devastating close-range energy attacks that also regenerate thier shields." That corrected line was generated using Eleven AI - I have really tried to cut, splice and glue together fragments of other Codex audio files to make it sound good, but after long hours of work I decided the final result isn't satisfactory (it was quite shitty, TBH). If you don't like AI generated content, just don't install that option.
- Cerberus entry fix: it's for those, who don't want to change narrator VO audio tracks (whatever the reason) - it will change Cerberus entry text to be consistent with vanilla narrator VO. You can't install it together with the first option.
- Revelation and Ascension novels entries fix: this one is kinda tricky, because it isn't that easy to tell if it actually needs fixing. Revelation and Ascension novels entries both have lore-unaccurate information. Revelation entry says Alliance AI research base, where Kahlee Sanders worked, was on Shanxi, while in fact it was on Sidon. Ascension entry states that attack on the Citadel was in 2182, instead of 2183. There are two ways to look at them: that they are errors and need fixing or that they are kind of BioWare's wink to a player, entries about real-life, lore-building novels which in-game are just some fiction stories Shepard bought on the Citadel. I myself incline towards the error theory, but I'll let you decide.
- Timeline consistency fixes: changes five entries, which don't account for the events from the first game (human joining the Council) or for the two years that passed since those events. These entries are: Normandy SR-1 (I used slightly modified text from LE3 and AI generated audio - you've been warned), Treaty of Farixen, Ilos, Protheans: Cipher and Citadel Council.

INSTALLATION

- Make sure your game isn't texture-modded yet (don't install any DLC mods after installing texture mods).
- Import downloaded LE2_Codex_Fixes.zip file into ME3Tweaks Mod Manager and hit "Apply" button.
- Make your choice of optional fixes. Due to how mods installation works, if you want to apply any combination of Cerberus, Revelation & Ascension and Timeline consistency fixes, there are dedicated options for any possible combination - you have to choose one of them and not individual fixes (it's impossible to check more than one, to make things more clear).
- Hit "Instal" button and voila!

COMPATIBILITY

If you play with any mod that disables Codex narrator audio, some of the "fixes" my mod provides will be irrelevant - there's no need for a text to be consistent with an audio, if there's no audio, isn't it? I also don't know how those mods disable the audio - if they replace audio tracks with a silent ones, my mod may conflict with them if you'll install optional audio changing fixes from my mod.
Changes made by other mods to the strings/audio changed by my mod will overwrtie / be overwritten, depending on installation order and/or mount priority.

SPECIAL THANKS

I'd like to thank (in no particular order):
- BioWare for the universe and all emotions that come with it;
- Neil Ross for being the voice of the Codex;
- all the people, with Mgamerz at the helm, behind ME3Tweak Mod Manager and Legendary Explorer, two powerful tools that literally kick ass;
- wonderful, kind and helpful folks at ME3Tweak discord, especially beccatoria and Tajfun403, for all the help and patience I received from them - without their knowledge and will to share that knowledge with others (i.e. me), I'd surely give up;
- Audemus for his Classic Critical Mission Failure Music mod, which I kinda reverse-engineered to learn how to replace narrator VO audio tracks with my mod;
- beccatoria (once more) for opening my eyes on the other point of view regarding Revelation and Ascension novels (the one about BioWare's wink to a player - I didn't look at it that way earlier);
