This is a randomizer for Yakuza 7 (or Yakuza: Like A Dragon) that gives the player the ability to randomize either enemies and/or skills within the game. Enemies will be scaled to where they appear in the game. This is a .exe file that is run to generate an RMM compatible folder for randomizing the game.
What Fights Aren't Randomized? (as of v0.1.5):
- Mr. Masochist
- Masato Arakawa
- Ishioda Wrecking Ball
- Normal Majima *
- Normal Saejima *
- Ch.13 Sawashiro fight
- Normal Kiryu *
- Ryo Aoki
- Clara-Chan *
- Right Arm of Cleaning Robots
- Left Arm of Cleaning Robots
- Cleaning Robots
- True Final Millenium Tower Amon
* Enemies can still appear if boss weight if above 0%
What Skills Aren't Randomized? (as of v.0.1.5):
- Tenacious Fist
- Aoki Guard Order
- Every summoning skill (Call Backup, Summon Bandmate, etc.) except for Majima's Doppelganger
- All Tag Team Kiwami skills except Essence of Mayham
- Overworld skills (Foreman's Demolish, Freelancer's Treasure Hunt)
- Basic Attacks, Fleeing, items, etc.
NOTE: some skills will never hit, some skills require certain job weapons to hit (such as a skill using a long weapon requiring a longer weapon like the foreman hammer or bodyguard sword), this randomizer is NOT meant to be balanced.
100% Boss Chance is VERY challenging and potentially softlocking on some early chapters (before you can get reliable healing and mp)! You've been warned!
A Warning on Stability/Balance:
This version (0.1.5) is mostly stable, every fight is completable.
If your game crashes, soft locks, etc. when trying to fight a specific enemy or use a specific skill, then my best suggestion would be to let me know on either
the Yakuza Modding Discord Mod-Feedback or leave a reply on the mod page detailing what enemy/skill you were trying to fight/use, and if possible
include your modified Randomizer mod folder. After sending me feedback, regenerate your enemies/skills as this should randomize the enemy/skill causing issues (hopefully for the rest of your playthrough).
How to Use:
A full step-by-step guide on how to utilize the mod is given in the "README.txt" file included in the download, if you are interested in anything more here is the GitHub download --> [Github Download]
