If there is already a folder named data4.pak, rename it data5 or data6.
techland goofed something up with the update and any mod that changes player_variables.scr does not work properly right now unless you open the game in offline mode. i think it has something to do with the community event feature but im not sure. putting steam in offline mode (assuming you have the steam version of the game) fixes this problem, but im pretty sure this means mods just wont work in coop until they fix it.
