Alternate Start aims to provide a new starting experience, similar to the original alternate start mod. Currently alpha and incomplete but stable. 12 Starting options, Updated: Your level, gold, quests and perk points may now vary depending on your chosen starting option! Again beyond some texture mods I've only uploaded one other mod, which was my first attempt at an alternate start mod. So let me know if it doesn't work ASAP.

I would assume any mods altering the starting game quest will be incompatible, more options will be added after I complete each existing option, some options are baseline for this alpha, meaning they do not modify you into quests yet but start you close to the intended quests for that starting style.
I have yet to modify skills for the starting options.
Yes, even though you choose a starting option, you will also have the Before the Storm quest, depending on which side you chose, it will ask you to speak with the Appropriate NPC in Riverwood and continue the game without making you go through Helgen.
The Magician:
Start Level: 5
Gold: 750
Perks: 5
Starts you in the college of Winterhold, quest completed upto the ward demonstration task.
The Thief:
Start Level: 5
Gold: 750
Perks: 5
Starts you having proved yourself to start at the Thieves Guild in Riften.
The Warrior:
Start Level: 5

Starts you in an inn in Dragon Bridge, having started both sides quests to join their side in the war, easy war start.
The Vampire:

Starts you as a vampire, allied with vampires. In a vampire cave. [Incomplete for now but does as said, just needs more added]
The Companion:

Starts you in Whiterun, after requesting to join the Companions (I had to aggro the NPC to get him outside to initiate the quest scene but then it worked, let me know if you have issues with this options starting quest)

The Traveler:

Starts you in Solstheim, in the abandoned building outside ravenrock near the dead body.
The Assassin:

Starts you in Windhelm's Aretino Residence. A key has been added on a table to let you out, here you can start the quest to join the dark brotherhood.
The Transcriber:
Start Level: 5

Start's you in Septimus Signus's Outpost. Able to start the quest Discerning the Transmundane.
The Collector:
Start Level: 5

Start's you in Blackreach in the alchemy lab like one of the options for AS-Live another life did. Cleaned up and changed the room a little. (Alchemist's start)
The Home Owner:
Start Level: 5
Gold: 750
Perks: 5
Starts you in a new home outside of Whiterun. Has most needs cluttered up in the house and changes are coming to it with updates as well. The key needs to be grabbed from off the table inside or you will lose access without cheating if you exit without grabbing it.
The Hero:

I actually did this one so quick idk for sure....I think you start in the temple of mara lol....
Anyhow it is all set to be updated an changed as well as me extending the options, one of the options I plan to add in the feature is "The Archer"/"The Marksman"

(Hopefully a new Alpha release will be available in April 2024! This Release will include all starting options listed completed to a degree, addressing issues that shouldn't be, if any occur)

Upcoming Update Progress so far: Progression to Mage Setup, Attempt #1-5 Not as wanted, attempt #6 Quest Started, Staged, and items given, + race spells working and being added, everything was a success and each starting option is being setup now! This new version hooks into the quest to display the menu's and not an Activator (Object). In short, this rewritten mod version is thus far, much more stable, interferes with less game code, more focused approach not messing with any architecture beyond the starting room and Teleport References.
Hello Modders, I am back and have taken into account the fact that people want a real version of this mod completed.
Why did I rewrite the mod to present this version vs keeping what I had?
First off to explain, I never thought I'd release my mod on Nexus, which as you can tell got over a thousand downloads in the first few weeks regardless of telling everyone it was bugged, heavily incomplete and yet to be finished. 2/4/2024 - Created the new post image as enough of the mod had been built to create the concept and uploaded here.
The Token of Rebirth will be posted as a new mod and the loss of mara will be left here in it's limbo state and the old post content below this spoiler returned and updated to show it's no longer the active mod. That way it's still here for those that for some reason still want it and not the new mod.

2/7/2024 Vampire Option teleport set, armor set and vs Race Checks to set player to correct VampireRace variant have been set and are working. The quest I had chosen is having issues staging and I am looking into it. Vampire Spells and abilities to be added manually in later touchups.

2/10/2024 - Updated Starting Area to the Abandoned Building for current user comfort to remain when the change to this version occurs.
Updated Starting Options - Each option, except for "continue as is" will start the player at level 5 with 5 perk points!
2/11/2024 Updated Post Description and Art - Companion option updated teleport and quest stages set for it and armor given.

House Cell Updated now sits in whiteruns sky weather day/night
Vampire Option State: Unfinished does not give vamp abilities/spells yet.
My plan still never changed I would like to get this first stable then add up to 25 starting options and once those are stable continue on until there are/is potentially hundreds of starting options as I once stated for the previous Alternate Start mod I had made. I just wanted to clarify these options are my starting point not my end game.
