I beefed up all of Miraaks gear and weapons with SSE Edit and converted all his armor pieces to clothing while reducing the weight of them. I also significantly increased the damage of Miraaks sword and soul charge of the staff and sword as well as the damage and staff. Everything is much more powerful and the mask and all the armor pieces are clothing now so they work well with mage characters. Refer to screen shots if you want to see what I did. If you have any questions just ask.
With any of my edits I highly recommend Skyrim Cheat Engine here on the nexus. It'll let you see the items in question without having to find out their editor Id through SSE Edit. Here is the lInk:
